Racist 13 year olds and electric boogaloos

Yeah right girl’s, that a real fear you have to live with, waking up in the morning finding that somebody has given you a negroplasy while you sleep! [sarcasm] Not only has their mother brought them up well but it seems they are smart to boot [/sarcasm]

I suppose the upside of it is that “Prussian Blue” is already the name of another band and a registered trademark. A band that thankfully doesn’t contain the twins of evil. I’m unsure of how registered trademarks go, but I’d say the hippies which are prussian blue have a good case against the nazi prussian blue.

Other than that my day has been pretty cool, being a Saturday there is a definite lack of people calling from shore demanding stuff, and the company man made me feel awesome by mentioning my name at the weekly safety meeting for doing a good job and then later coming up and awarding me a $50 bunning card! bonus! 🙂

I’m looking forward to Monday, it’ll be madness of a day between it being a Monday (which is usually mad) and house stuff.. I have some awesome things to look forward to next week.

Crash:

From what I understand this movie has a bit of a cult following for it’s handling of racial stereotypes. In fact, altho the movie has a few intertwined storylines the basic issue it deals with, is racial steretypes. The movie is basically about how there is good and evil in all people, regardless of race, but how race still plays a major part in the way we percieve each other and our expectations.
The movie was well put together and had some tense and emotionally exploding scenes. For the most however I don’t believe it had quite enough depth, it’s message was thrust at you with little subtelty like a dead chicken in front of an alligator. Overall I felt dissapointed in it’s cult status; for it’s star cast and hype it really is a very average movie. 5/10
