Psychos Aren’t Welcome in My Mouse

This remake *cough* *cough* I mean, sequel to the popular movie went straight to DVD.
One might wonder why this was the case, the simple answer is: budget. It was obvious that the script had so many similarites to the original that it was just not going to make it as a blockbuster and so it’s budget was set much lower. This obviously placed restrictions on actors, sets and other production issues.
That being said what has been produced is a solid movie with a good plot and decent acting.
It does not try to pick up where the last movie left off, it simply offers another director/writer’s team perspective on a similar storyline and it seems that with what they had avaiable they did a good job.
Until the very last 1/4 of the movie I was resounded that this movie was going to get a 5/10. As it turns out the last 1/4 is action packed and does make the movie that touch better.

A you won’t be dissapointed watching this movie if every other option looks dissapoinitng.

On a side note – I’m ripping through the movies, I certainly won’t have enough for another 14 days but I should be able to last out another week if I’m lucky.. As is the case, they don’t all work, some are in chineese and others, well, they may be in french – yet another language I do not speak. After the movies run out, I plan on recounting some of my past tales to keep you entertained, as well as possibly doing something creative.. I’ll work it out soon enough.. 🙂

Another side note – I’m having more builder issues, but they look like they may be resolved soon enough, although it seems a pain in the ass it is apperant to me that I am really excited to get my house built.. and go to Japan.. and NZ.. 😀

I have an ad above this blog which I mentioned yesterday, a woman with 30 years experience in excorcism and over 25,000 successful exorcisms.
Let’s assume that not ALL excorcisms are successful, but let’s say she’s pretty good so she has had maybe 1000 failures. So 26,000 excorcisms over 30 years, if we divide 30 into 26,000 we find that she has done 866 excorcisms every year for the last 30 years! That’s 2.5 excorcisms every day of the year! (we assume that demons don’t take holidays from possessing people, hence she works tirelessly). I’m not sure what you think, but after watching the Excorcism of Emily Rose, I’m not entirely sure I could hadle 2-3 people screaming at me every day, throwing things, speaking in Latin etc, I am quite confident that the woman providing this service is completely mad. She has been tainted by the demonspawn and probably needs an excorcism herself.
