The body, she is dying….

I woke up this morning and didn’t want to get out of bed, it wasn’t the usual “I can’t be bothered working” attitute. I was tired, my eyes were deep and sunken and I realised, hey I was coughing.
After going to work and having the doc take a look at me,my suspicions were confirmed, that nasty throat bug/tonsilitis thing had returned.

For some reason the last doc prescribed me the wrong antibiotics and I’ve finally recieved the right ones (Augementit Duo Forte).
I often think of my body in terms of the 2001 movie “Osmosis Jones”. I can see my little cells fighting the big bad infections in my body and things I do, such as taking meds or even sitting in the sun helping or hindering them in their battle.
I think the last meds were a bit like “we’re here to fight the bugs.. 😮 Oh.. Thoooose bugs? We don’t really do thoooose bugs, but hey, ok, we’ll try” and then they proceeded to kill the bugs which were all over my body, their lair being my tonsils.
However, not being experts on this bug they thought it dead, thought they had done their job and left, whereas in reality the bugs hid so deep in my tonsils that the bugs weren’t equiped to fight them. So I think of Augmentin as a crack-troop type of unit, throat bugs and apperantly genetellia bugs are what they deal with all day, so they’ll go attack the throat and make sure my privates are free of bugs at the same time! Bless ye Augmentin!
