Movie Review: Land of the Dead:

Land of the dead is the latest installment in the “dead” series from G.A.Romero. It was produced after a positive response to the remake of his “Day of the Dead” movie just over a year ago.
“Sean of the Dead” is not part of the series (although it is a good zombie flick in its own right).

The story centers around Riley and his crew who go out into the zombie occupied wilderness outside their safe city to gather vital supplies. However, the zombies start to evolve, which is not to say they start to run, because this isn’t THAT sort of zombie movie. They start to use logic to accomplish their goals (which are usually human flesh).

A light hearted flick with plenty of storyline as well as action it takes the time out to flesh out the charachters, usually before they get fleshed out by the zombies.
There is evidence of some very solid acting here, this zombie movie has very little cheese to it. 🙂
8/10
