Brilliant.. 🙂 I’m home in just 2 more days work.. 🙂
In other news, my annual birthday bash will this year be a whiskey cocktail party (cocktails that all entail whiskey as the main ingredient) and be held on the 23rd of December, if you think you should be invited please don’t hesitate to drop me a line.. 🙂

I decided to do this Meme thing I picked up from Lori’s site for no reason other then lack of originality today..:) (and the only remaining movie is that damn Kevin Costner flick, I WILL preserve my sanity!)

1. What did you do in 2005 that you hadn’t done before?
I went on an overseas holiday by myself.

2. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Antje had her baby very early on in the year.

3. Did anyone close to you die?
No.

4. Did you travel? Where did you go? Best holiday memory?
Thailand and Bali – any one of those moments where I felt that right at that moment I was perfectly in the right place in the world.

5. Best thing you bought?
Ohhh, my house, but I haven’t paid for that yet, so the land I suppose, followed by my twin 19″ LCDs.. they bring me joy 🙂

6. Where did most of your money go?
Enjoyment

7. What do you wish you had done more of?

8. What do you wish you had done less of?
I wish I didnt get those 2 speeding fines this year, even tho they werent big ones..

9. What kept you sane?
My family and friends, my daily injection of net.

10. What drove you mad?
see above. 🙂

11. What made you celebrate?
Almost every day is a celebration, the year got off on a rocky start but got progressively better.

12. What made you sad?
Dissapointment in people I thought could do better, including both people I know and tradesmen (atypical of Perth however)

13. How was your birthday this year?

14. What political issue stirred you the most this year?
I have tried my darnest to avoid them this year, Michelle Roberts always pisses me off however.

15. Were you in love in 2005?
Yes, if only for short peroids of time.. maybe just infatuated, but that’s almost as good 🙂

16. What would you like to have in 2006 that you didn’t have this year?
A built house, a finished car, a trip to NZ, the eastern states and Japan

17. What date from 2005 will be etched in your memory and why?
None, I’m pretty hopeless with dates.. 🙁

18. What song will remind you of 2005?

19. Compared to this time last year are you happier?
Certainly.

20. Biggest achievement this year?
Land, holidays, my love for my family grew again.

21. Biggest disappointment this year?
You know who you are.

22. What is the one thing that would have made you more satisfied?
Everything happening faster, but then again, everything has it’s own pace, I’m at peace with that.

23. Best new person you met this year?
I wouldn’t want to put anybody on a pedestal, those who are my new friends are welcomed. 🙂

24. A valuable life lesson you learnt this year?
Don’t waste time brooding on how bad life is, appreciate what is good in it and work of making it even better.
