The New Year is almost upon me

The wind outside is howling at a steady 40 knots, blowing away 2005. Hey, if you’re gonna go out, go out in style I say. I have to say I am thankful for all the awesome people who I have had around and contributed to 2005 being a year whioch holds many fond memories.
None of them features Alexandra, that’s probably becasue I don’t know anybody with that name.
With 2006 only hours away I’m forced to honour the time honored tradition of new years resolutions.

* Lose the 4 kilos I gained over xmas, and lose a further 2 making my weight a nice and even 80kg, maintain said weight. – I actually started on this two days ago, it involves a better diet, more rigorous and varied excercise AND until I reach 82kg (my pre-xmas weight) no drinking of alcohol except on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
* Complete the Jim Beam part of my collection
* Try Hennessey, try Sake.

* Visit Japan and NZ
* Eat fugu in Japan

* Support my family and friends when they ask for support, offer when they do not

That really about sums it up, anything else will surely be a surprise to the system. 🙂 Obvious references to what I will do next year such as “Party Hard” and “seek excitement” are pretty obvious and hence ommited.
