a 5 day working week…

So I’ve sort of been getting used to this whole 5 day working week thing, and really hating it. At least I shall be back offshore in a week or two, but it seems that with my new job at least a 1/4 of my time will be spent working onshore, mainly between Welshpool, the city and occasionaly Dampier.

The job itself I’m loving, Im learning new things on a daily basis and the team I work with are great. Job satisfaction rating is very high, which is good as Im going to have to do this for 4 years while I go back to uni and do my masters. 🙂

Other than that, this whole 5 day week has stuffed me to some extent and not much has been happeneing. I’m charging the girl that hit me with a hit and run rather then an assault, mainly as the police can’t be fucked prosecuting as they are what they are, and although I understand their understaffing problems and the severity of other situations I belive if they spent less time chasing speeding motorists some real crimes would be reaching a satisfactory climax.

I have a few small projects for the weekend, and maybe a birthday party to attend.. 🙂 The media box is getting an upgrade and is finally going into a decent case to match the rest of the entertainment unit and I’m going to attempt to find some LEDs or neons for the inside of the fridge.. 🙂
