Easter is cracking – somebody get the superglue!!

2 days into easter and things are heating up. Friday was spent partially relaxing, partially doing some work around the house, tidying up leaves, the garden and other small things. Drinking all too much Pure Blondes and getting into some kareoke with my sister Julia and her friend Kiara.

Saturday has proved far more productive, starting with going down to the Cracowia club on Beach Rd to bless the eggs and other assorted foodstuffs (something that is far more tradition now then religion – but hey, why ruin tradition?) and followed by Jo, Julia, Kiara and myself going into the city. We picked up the neons for the fridge (a project I want to make big headway on this easter break) and went to the gym – recently I’ve got 2 weeks free membership at the 24 hr gym and spa there.
Coming home Jo and me went to the Drift meet up at Waneroo Raceway (see pic below), I was surprised to see how close to it I’m building. Something I’ll have to make more of an effort to do more regulary.

Afterwards we went for a bit of a walk with the dog and found a party on down the road. I’ve been trying to keep at home this easter for a few reasons:

• The cops are out in force and knowing my own tendancy to drive when I “feel” I’m sober I think I’m better off at home.
• Going out is expensive and I haven’t been paid for last month yet
• Even if I was to go to a party rather then go clubbing (somethign I would prefer at this point in time) all my friends who would possibly have a party live at least 50km away, making it a huge trek – see the 1st point.

So I’ve been feeling pretty shitty all arvo with the fact that I’m not at a party, and haven’t really been for a while – I’m missing meeting new and interesting people under intoxicating circumstances and generally enjoying myself in that party atomsphere. Meh. I’m such a whiny bitch. I’ll just go back to rinking my J Walker Black.. 🙂
