The relativity of percieved time
Posted by tmz_99 on August 21st, 2006 filed in UncategorizedI think it’s very plauible that time is relative in as far as our perception of the now. A kettle takes longer when you’re waiting it to boil, a good time goes faster, etc. Which brings me to a little hypothesis; if a group of people are sharing the experience, are they in fact also sharing the speed at which they percieve time (witholding minor leeway due to individuals not being %100 carbon copies of each other).
This could work by way of empathic brain waves or some such similar method. It would also be interesting if twins produced closer results.. or clones even!! bring on the clones 😐

You may be onto something Tom. But you may have been working too many hours too.
Toast doesn’t pop when you are waiting for it, that’s for sure. And the computer always takes longer to shutdown when you want to go to bed.
