My good friend George

George Washington and myself have something in common. I bet you didn’t know that – and frankly neither did I, but thanks to Wikipedia it appears that ‘ol George (ancient now) had tonsillitis, in fact, he died from it.

George in his healther days

I’m quite convinved this is the same bout of tonisllitis that I have had in Thailand last time, and certaintly the same one I have had since then, quite possibly BEFORE then. I have a strange feeling that my tonsillitis may have been around for over a year or two now, sitting in the background fucking with my general health.

As with any companion that stays for a while I think my Tonsillitis deserves a name. So I am proud to announce that my tonsillitis, in honour of a great american, should be called George.

I am Tom’s acute Tonsillitis, my name is George

I am also pleased to annouce that the next two weeks I am planning to kill George once and for all. With a little bit of luck the penecillin should make his head explode or whatever it is that penecillin does to him. The problem with antibiotics is that my system tends to shut down and make me feel worse then I started. But fuck this, George is really getting on my nerves. Time to die George, I hope beelzebub has a devil put aside for you.
Colorgenics…. Yeah well.. why not? takes 20 seconds and isn’t a bad read…
Another thing worth a mention is HB Plummage.. .I really don’t want to jinx this but I’m hoping there shall be more to write about later.

That is a pretty good indication that some nuking is required. Wow, better than my last case of tonsilitis. G’bye George.

I like that: George! It’s simple, it says it all.

How was Thailand? Did you write about it on your blog? If so, could you point me to the post? I’d be interested in reading about your time there.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, btw.

    Hey Tom,
I tried to email you but it bounced back. I’m not going to Thailand but I would certainly love to. Maybe some day, as they say. I like travel writing so I’m looking forward to reading about your travels.
    thanks for the links

Hey, one of my friends was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer. He decided to name it Harold Holt (after the Aus prime minister who disappeared while swimming, never to be seen again)!

    catch you in sydney soon,
    raych
