Wind it up!
Posted by tmz_99 on March 11th, 2007 filed in UncategorizedSo the last few days have been fairly busy ones.. in and out of work (let’s face it… mostly out).
I have been down to Cafe Del Mar again, it’s relaxed atmosphere and the music is good. On the way, Sparky & I took the cab to Outram Park. Upon exiting the cab I noticed Sparky’s phone was lying on the seat of the cab. I grabbed it and gave it to him, we proceeded down the MRT to find Lillian (his date – Swedish). I suddenly realised that my camera was not in my pocket! I had left my brand new camera on the taxi (oh yeah, I have a new camera – thanks Sim Lim).
We raced back up again (10 minutes after we got out of the cab mind you) and there was the taxi driver, with a new fare sitting in the back of his taxi, motioning me over.. 🙂 He had found the camera and waited for us to realise we had lost it. LUCKY. Singapore is such an honest country.
Last night I went to Sengkang to for dinner and to buy new socks/underwear (the laundry had stolen mine, I assume to use in their giant slingshot WMD or to sell on the black market in Malaysia) after which we went to Clarke Quey. Went on the reverse bungee there, which like all good bungee-related objects was owned/operated by New Zealanders (we’re a crazy bunch). Went to Attica, danced around a while, headed home.

Honest taxi drivers? I don’t believe it! Glad you were able to retrieve your camera.
