How young is too young?
Posted by tmz_99 on November 29th, 2007 filed in UncategorizedTechnology is being adopted by younger individuals in a rapid scale, most 10 year olds have at some point used the internet and many young teens have mobile phone. So the question needs to be asked, with Hotmail and Gmail being the leaders of online email, how young is too young to start an email address?
Due to the limited nature of email addresses should any responsible parent of the new millennium jump online and register their child’s name upon birth with hotmail, less they risk them growing up only to have Alex.Smith_2991313@hotmail.com? These email addresses would have to be kept spam free and relatively silent until the little tyke started getting email, but a simple email address would look good on any CV and college application in the future.
So allowing that it is in fact a responsible move to register such addresses it would also make sense to start registering email before the child is even born/names.
Thankfully Wolverine.Moroz@hotmail.com and Master.Moroz@hotmail.com are still unclaimed, so my future children can rest safe in the fact no one will laugh at their email address.
