The weekend rolls around once again
Posted by tmz_99 on June 11th, 2005 filed in WorkOnce again the weekend is here, the only discernable difference for me is the reduction of calls from the offices of contractors and the fact that when I wake up there is music on the TV, and a safety meeting.
Last night I went to the gym as per usual, was listening to my Dianna Krall CD, I am still in persuit of that little smokey bar of my dreams, where the smell of leather and cigars perferates the air and a band plays jazz while a sultry songstress sings along. There’s a bar in Perth called “Blue to the Bone”, it’s quite pleasant and almost manages this, if what you’re after is a hickville-inspired version of the above musings.
Sorry for the lack of update yesterday, it seems that once again our satellite decided to reject the advances of binary signals, therefore cutting off our internet and phone lines once again.
Thai word of the day: Amphor = district (much like the japaneese prefactures I believe).
Word is, theres a new movie being made, after X-men 3, based soley on Wolverine. I have to admit, as a child (and probably now also) wolverine was always my favourite X-man character, however I feel as if the first two movies focused on him more then any other charachter already, and with the X-men movies thus far being pretty good, I feel trepidation as to the likelyhood they will butcher this character. In the books he has a hugely varied and interwoven history.
